It was originally used for skin rejuvenation, however, it is now used for a very wide range of indications including acne scarring, acne, post-traumatic/burn scarring, hair loss, skin rejuvenation, drug delivery, hyperhidrosis, stretch marks, and more. In addition, over the past 10 years, many new innovations have been made to the instruments originally used for microneedling. This technology can be combined with other surgical techniques to achieve better results.
