Formation of Acne
Acne is essentially a chronic inflammatory disease of the sebaceous glands of the hair follicles, caused by androgen-induced hyperplasia of the epithelial cells of the ducts of the sebaceous glands of the hair follicles in a genetic background, which results in the formation of pimples and the clogging of pores.
Acne is a multifactorial disease with at least four interacting pathogenetic mechanisms: insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and androgen-driven enhancement of sebaceous gland activity with hyperseborrheic sebaceous overflow and dyshidrosis, aberrant follicular differentiation, increased keratinization, bacterial proliferation (Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus aureus) ) and inflammation, and an innate immune host response.
Therefore, our treatment also focuses on these four areas:
1. de-acne to resolve clogged pores;
2. inhibiting sebaceous gland secretion;
3. antiinflammatory and antiimmune;
4. sterilization.
